Dr. Grenvil Gracias

Dr. Grenvil Gracias earned his Family Medicine degree from the University of Alberta in 2015, where he was honored as Chief Resident during his residency training. He further specialized in Emergency Medicine at the University of Calgary, again serving as Chief Resident. Currently a clinical lecturer at the University of Calgary, Dr. Gracias enjoys teaching medical students and residents.

With seven years of experience as an ER physician, Dr. Gracias has gained significant expertise in diagnosing and treating acute and severe dermatological conditions. His extensive experience in surgical skin procedures and techniques has further honed his skills.

Inspired by his personal journey and experiences, Dr. Gracias developed a deep passion for skin disease and overall skin health. He obtained a post-graduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology (PgDip) with distinction from Cardiff University and transitioned his practice to outpatient clinical dermatology. His interests span medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, where he offers extensive knowledge and expertise.

Dr. Gracias is particularly skilled in surgical skin procedures, laser therapy for skin lesions, and cosmetic skin injectables. He is known for his meticulous attention to detail and perfectionism in procedural work. He takes the time to understand his patients’ concerns, combining his artistic eye with medical expertise to deliver beautiful, natural-looking results. His goal is to help each patient feel happy, confident, and comfortable in their own skin.

Committed to his patients’ well-being, Dr. Gracias is known for building genuine, trusting relationships. He is an active member of both the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Canada and the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine.
